By accessing and using UltraConvert ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
UltraConvert provides free, browser-based tools for processing files including PDFs, images, text, and other data formats. All processing occurs locally in your web browser using WebAssembly technology. No files are uploaded to our servers.
Free to Use
The Service is provided free of charge. We do not require registration, payment, or personal information to use any of our tools. We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future, but existing free features will remain free.
User Responsibilities
When using the Service, you agree to:
- Use the tools only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Not use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human can reasonably produce
- Not use the Service to process illegal content
- Take responsibility for backing up your original files before processing
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, and content (excluding user-processed files), is the property of UltraConvert. You retain all rights to your own files and content that you process using our tools.
No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results will meet your requirements. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UltraConvert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of your use of the Service.
Data Processing
You understand and agree that:
- All file processing occurs locally in your browser
- We do not have access to your files or their contents
- You are responsible for the security of your own device
- Temporary data may be stored in your browser's local storage
- Closing your browser tab will clear any temporary data
Third-Party Content
The Service may display advertisements from Google AdSense. These ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their content. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies.
Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
