Fill PDF Forms

Complete interactive PDF forms directly in your browser. The tool auto-detects every AcroForm field in your document — text boxes, checkboxes, dropdown menus, and radio buttons — presenting them in an easy-to-use interface. Fill out forms, save your progress, and download the completed document ready for submission.

What does this tool do?

The Form Fill tool enables completion of interactive AcroForm PDFs without specialized software. It scans the uploaded PDF to identify all form fields and presents them with appropriate input controls. Text fields accept typed input, checkboxes toggle on/off, dropdown menus show available options, and radio buttons allow single selection from groups. The filled values are embedded into the PDF's form data, creating a completed form that displays correctly in any PDF viewer.

How it works

Using MuPDF's AcroForm handling, the tool parses the PDF's interactive form dictionary to identify field locations, types, and properties. It renders a form interface mapping to these underlying PDF fields. As you fill fields, values are validated against field constraints (maximum length, format requirements). When you save, the tool writes the filled values back into the PDF's form structure while preserving field properties and appearances. The output is a standard filled PDF compatible with any viewer.

Features

How to use

  1. 1

    Upload the fillable PDF

Drag a PDF with form fields onto the drop zone. The tool detects interactive fields and displays a form interface matching the PDF's structure.

  2. 2

    Fill text fields

Click on text fields and type your input. Tab between fields to navigate quickly. Required fields are typically indicated in the form design.

  3. 3

    Toggle checkboxes and radio buttons

Click checkboxes to toggle them on/off. For radio button groups, click your selection — only one option can be selected per group.

  4. 4

    Select from dropdowns

Click dropdown fields to open the list of options, then select your choice. Dropdowns save space compared to radio buttons for many options.

  5. 5

    Save the filled form

Click Save Filled PDF. The completed form downloads with all your entered values embedded and visible.

Will filled forms work in all PDF viewers?
Yes — the output is a standard filled AcroForm PDF compatible with Adobe Acrobat, web browsers, mobile PDF apps, and other viewers.
